"The name is Bond, James Bond..."
A guaranteed original movie poster from 1983 for "Octopussy", the thirteenth film of the James Bond series.
The sixth film to star Roger Moore as 007, it also starred Maud Adams (as 'Octopussy'), Steven Berkoff (as 'General Orlov') and Louis Jourdan (as 'Kamal Khan').
Premiering in London, with Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales in attendance, it would go on to take over $180M at the box office.
Although not scripted upon it, the film's title is taken from Ian Fleming's 1966 story "Octopussy and The Living Daylights", which would also provide the title for Timothy Dalton's first Bond film.
This is an unusual size poster that makes full use of Daniel Goozee's amazing artwork of Roger Moore and Maud Adams. A really lovely piece, especially where a larger one sheet would not work.
It was originally issued folded, but has since been professionally linen-backed and as our photos show, looks superb. A great peice for any Bond or Roger Moore fan!
James Bond posters are highly sought after and Roger Moore brought a charm and wit to 007 that has not been matched since. This poster recalls a magical era for Bond.
We only sell guaranteed original movie posters. We do not sell reproductions.
Note: This poster is priced unframed. Photos showing framed and 'in room' images are for illustration only. Please check our hi-res images and the sizing information shown above.
