A guaranteed original U.S. 'three sheet' movie poster from 1970 for "Hello, Dolly!", Gene Kelly's romantic musical comedy, starring Barbra Streisand, Walter Matthau and Michael Crawford. 

Nominated for seven Oscar Academy Awards, eventually winning three, the film was based on a Broadway show of the same name. More recently, those familiar with WALL-E, will recognise scenes where WALL-E learns about the concept of love from a "Hello, Dolly!" VHS cassette.

This is an incredible poster! Over two metres by one metre, it has never been folded and unusually for three sheets, was issued as one piece of paper. Then there is the condition - astonishing! This is an important poster that will make an amazing centre-piece in a really stylish home.

Those interested in the artists behind movie posters may recognise this as movie poster legend Richard Amsel's breakthrough poster, produced when he was still at college. It foretold an amazing, but all too brief, artistic career.
